KH5376 Hunting Machete1 Average rating: | Read all reviews 24" Total Length 18" Blade High Quality Carbon Steel Hard Rubber Handle Full Tang Design Sheath Included Comes Individually Packaged Top Quality         This ia not just a machette, this is not just a hunting machette, this has got to be the greatest hunting machette I have ever seen.  It is a high quality carbon steel blade with blacking to help prevent rust.  The full tang design give fantastic strength which offsets is elegent design.  This machette actually has two cutting surfaces the main blade wich is used for chopping and a small concave section of the blade right above the handle which is excellent for shaving kindling.  The sharp point on this machette means it can also be used as a hunting knife instead of just clearing foliage.  Also the back side of the blade for 8 1/4" has been tapered down to allow it to be easily sharpened on both sides.  If you are looking for a hunting knife, survival knife, or a machette, this one is all three.
